how could bitter words taste so sweet?
how do i let myself consume
what escapes the parts between your lips?

how can i
let myself be undone
undressed by words
caressed by promises
of kisses yet unknown

how do i let myself
unfold over your lap
a softness yet untouched
longing to be caressed
and held against your skin

how does it feel
to let the deep layers
slowly unravel
and dance across your body

how can a love be so sweet
yet taste so bitter
