Overlooked

Overlooked

A Poem by S. P. Vaporis

Time is spinning  ever  so  slyly
We continue holding tightly
Yet fingers slip slightly
Just a joke told wryly
While we replicate
Life decelerates
All to complicate
 What I postulate
No more reverence
For what is benevolent
Living has become irrelevant
Making  the  powerful  malevolent

woah. Utterly disheartening but beautifully spun. I had to run away from the Old Woman poem because it hit me too hard and hurt too deep. This one I can take. It's wonderfully formatted, and eloquently penned. Beautiful work, just beautiful.

looks like an hour glass...how fitting of the poem...you could just here the tick-ticking of time passing as you read along.

Excellent... A thinking persons poem... there is a deep meaning to the rhyme... I like!

This is a nice shaped poem suggestive of spinning and the lack of punctuation works.

did you mean living has 'become' irrelevant?

i liked the rhymes... complicated ones! not just rhyming for rhymes sake.
