Forget the white rabbit

cute fuzzy animals

want nothing to

do with me

what really wants

to sink it's teeth

into my hot clammy flesh

is a big white following van

drivers and metal

wanting a piece of me

like everyone else

they've taken all

but one slice

and I know

they'll try to

claim that too

but this one is

finally for myself

it's all I truly have left

except for that

following white vehicle

I don't want near me

It's starting to cross boundaries

following me out

instead of almost home

I know I can run

but only for so long

they'll eventually catch up

and tell me things

I don't want to hear

secrets kept over my years

and try to rob me

of my final last piece
