A breath closer to death

Each day we awake and take a new breath,
a new breath of life,
however with each breath we take
we are brought closer to death,
inhale...
exhale..
depending on what you believe
your last breath can land you in heaven or in hell.
With each breather,
we arrive deeper into the abyss
it is something we cannot dismiss or defy,
we all are born. we all die.
inhale...
exhale...
depending on what you believe
your last breath can land you in heaven or in hell.
Just breathe, take in the oxygen
put out the carbon dioxide
hold your breath too long and you've committed suicide,
so lets not run, just get ready to collide,
because death is coming, with each n every breath taken.
