glimpse into the darkness

Collapse your eyelids,

And glimpse into the darkness,

It slithers, it crawls and it creeps from the mist,

The darkness,

it scratches, it claws, it pulls you down into the abyss

into the abyss,

where sanity does not exists

and reality is dismissed,

go ahead, scream and yell,

is this or is this not a dream!?!

Welcome to the gates of hell,

Where your bones start to stiffen, your body begins to rapidly sweat,

And your skin turns pale…

You awake! You arise!

With a relieved sigh,

Only to once again close your eyes,

As you are pushed back down to your demise,

The darkness, which you were only suppose to glimpse,

But darkness do not care,

Because it knows eventually your glimpse will become an eternal stare.
