Ashes

When you're alone

Unoccupied

Hiding behind a wall of solitude 

Your emptiness devours you

You're getting  trapped in a vacant shell

starting to observe the incomplete riddles 

of your insignificant life

The thirsty desires you haven't yet satisfied 

The unfinished stories you've left behind

Strolling the roads of old memories

unforgettable faces 

deformed faces

masked faces.....

faces

their faces

his face

that one face

those eyes

that smile

the way his hand swayed waving good bye

Till you find yourself sitting by the past's fireplace

depriving it from it's warmth

turning it to ashes

grains of dust

it's all gone...

and it must
