Rooms Within

Rooms Within

A Poem by deer-heart
"

There's nothing here for you.

"

the rooms within
close the doors, there's nothing
out there, nothing out there for you
draw close, try to reach inside the
rooms within
close the doors, there's nothing here for you
shatter glass, souls unhinged
break a window, let the sunlight through
the rooms within
hollowed, hear the echoes
in the empty frame, there's no one here for you
scramble to a memory of a
room within
burns with a passion
passionate illusion, there's a
room within
there is room within
draw me out
shut me in
close the doors, there's nothing here for you
in a night shot with reeling
senses open feeling
close the doors, draw it back inside
the rooms within
close the doors, there's nothing
out there, nothing out there for you
draw close, but far away
there is no room within.

Wow.... Deep.
It's like a push&pull thing.
I love it... I love the way the words flow, the way they paint a slow & lasting picture.
