Dripping

Dripping

A Poem by deer-heart
"

A vague reflection on water.

"

Dripping
Slowly
Drip
ping
down the
drip
dripping eyelashes of a
weeping willow
tree
the weeping
willow
weeps
tears falling from
falling from the sky
why does the sky weep?
drip
dripping down the
down my back
the cool
sweet
cool sweet loveliness
sweet solitude of the
dripping
the rain
the tears of the sky
she weeps
& I sit under the weeping
under the weeping willow tree
and listen.

Lovely! I can see a teacher reading this with great expression to her
first grade class.
she weeps
& I sit under the weeping
under the weeping willow tree
and listen.
