Western WindsA Poem by DeepwaterSouthern FleetsWestern winds tease southern skies This September on the bay The morning nip gives warning signs Fisherman, winter is moving our way Masts and sails in need of repair Storms will blow here soon Prepare for worst this offshore life Fresh fish we catch for you The fleet is blessed, and prays to God The gulls fly high on wing this day Loading supplies for morning tide Setting sails we steer our way And head for southern skies
