"But best is the ice-cream"
A Poem by Deepwater
not deep just to the knee.
If I dare but see through the eyes of a child, what would it be? Long hot summers on a beach with warm winds blowing off the sea. Gulls fly high on the wing, all looking down at me calling can you see? Games to be played on the sand, a castle with my father and me Or in the water, not too far with mother, not deep just to the knee. But best is the ice-cream given to me for the best day at the sea Soft white sheets on my bed as I drift off to see the wonders, so free.
