The Pleasant RideA Poem by NoeldeeptzI wrote this in a bus but the lady beside me was my inspiration. Funny thing, she didn't know she was.
Dainty fingers like exotic chocolate bars
Fair skin, clear like a mother fountain The wind blows her hair on her face And as she motions to move it aside Her hands moves with such aura of sweetness. Her dark cloak conceals the beauty of her legs And her netted shirt reveals the elegance of her firm shoulders, Which leaves her back upright, Upright, as she is in character. The colour on her lips I'll gladly paint my world, So I closed my eyes and let it wash away all that wasn't pink. My elbow grazed her back, And twas warm like a diner's freshly cooked meal, Our shoulders touched for a while that I didn't record But my heart paced as long as the touch was. I felt her palm as they grazed my leg For it sent shock waves up to my spine -And as you know, I've stopped tickling- Her voice flowed out like a siren's call Calling me to bliss alive than to a sailor's death. If I could see her words, they'll be beautifully coloured, Each word a different colour from those we know exists. For the rest of this ride, I'll keep my thoughts on you And... Knock, knock, I was woken from sleep. © 2013 NoeldeeptzReviews
