A mind aheadA Poem by NoeldeeptzThe "what will they say" series
If it comes to be
That I am no more And the warm smile people have come to love Is replaced by a cold stare of immovable skin And the mouth that ones brought laughter Brings the opposite because It moves no more, What will they say? "That he was kind, intelligent and good? That he was greatly loving and never hating? Or that he was eerie, and understandable by no one? Or far worse, that he was proud and rude Belittling others who didn't see like him?" Except I can look back from the beyond I won't know what people will say. If I really care what they will I'll live well while I'm here And hope in the most futile thing That nobody will hate me and have bad to say about me. © 2013 NoeldeeptzAuthor's Note
