Dewy Face

Dewy Face

A Poem by deeps

Dewy Face

When did I wish

 your eyes to be

 drowned

 in mist of tears?

 I had wished

 fresh red roses

 would ever bloom in them.

When did I wish

 your voice to be lost

 in distant valleys?

I had wished

sweet fountains

would emerge from your lips.

When did I wish

 you should tread a path

 across burning sand?

I had wished

your soft feet

would tread on velvet grass.

When did I wish

 your rosy dreams..

to be shattered to pieces?

 I had wished

to fill stars

 in your wallet.

 When did I wish
 your life-canvas

 to be covered with sorrow?

 I had wished for

 an innocent and dewy face.
