Nature; what's left of it?

Nature; what's left of it?

A Poem by JUSTWRITING
"

Riddle me this; what don't people and nature have in common? Why not read and find out...

"

We’re always running;

Running from things that we fear, that we don’t know

Or what we don’t want to know.

Not everyone runs;

But those who run are classified as ‘cowards’.

Who would suggest what cowards are?
Why would anyone classify a runner as a coward?

The answer is simple, if we break it down.

Human beings; people in particular,

As they think that since they’ve dominated the world

They are the champions.

Why don’t other animals or living beings have a right to live?

We talk about God, create books and movies and preach about God;

But tell me this;

Does God mention anywhere that human beings are the best?

That other animals have to bow down to us?

Those other living creatures have no rights in this world?

Mother Nature certainly doesn’t think so.

Why isn’t She helping us when we’re facing environmental problems?

She’s perfectly capable of doing so,

But wants to teach all humans a lesson;

And possibly give them a chance.

The problem is will they accept it?

Or not?
