The deep hole
Entices me
Pulling me into its endless depth.
The darkness seems so alluring
That I almost fall into it.

There seems to be no one who understands me,
And no one seems to care.
I don't want sympathy, empathy
Or anger.
I just want a soul to care and listen.
Just to sit down for some time
And pay attention to what I'm saying
Without giving advice
But being there for me.

I'm not asking for anything big,
Or anything pricey.
I just want some of your time
And some of that caring nature of yours.
That's all I want,
And I'll leave you peacefully to go on your way.

For taking the time to listen
To hear what I haven't said.
For that, my sincere gratitude.
