In Sight; The Woods

In Sight; The Woods

A Poem by JUSTWRITING
"

It's happy plus sad. This poem gives me a sense of contentment.

"
I'm walking in the woods
Lost and lonely
With no place or idea to go.
I feel sad and depressed
But I also feel a certain sense of peace.

This peace, for however long it lasts,
Is blissful as it is quiet,
Quiet and calm
With everything composed.

For the first time, I stop walking
And look around me.
I notice what I haven't before.
The luscious green trees
With thick foliage;
The flora that surrounds me
Makes me suddenly happy
Turning my frown, upside down.

. ah, that's beautifully introspective ... and i think the peace you've found is permanent ... it'll add to your inherent resilience ... a resilience which won't be dependent on whether you are lost or lonely or not ... inspirational writing ...

This poem does create a sense of contentment, it shows that there is another side, one filled with luscious green trees and beauty.
