My Memories and Past

Handling my past, memories, etc

Memories, I've found,
Are a very powerful tool-
They can make or break you.
It depends how you hold the key to your past,
And how you look at it.

I've learned to handle them with care.
Neither do I pack them in a box
To be kept away,
Nor do I deeply cherish them
That I want to re-live my past everyday.
What else can I do if not tread with care?

But I face another dilemma.
One that will take time for me to focus
And solve.

My past is back
Back with a big bang.
It's come to haunt me,
But for what?
Has it come to taunt me for all my wrongs?
Appreciate all my good deeds?
Or to prove no matter how my past was
It's still there?
And it's not going to go.
