Humanity

Humanity

A Poem by maddie

Midnight

Silent

Exept for the periodic chirping of a cricket

The sky that was once pitch black, now has a luminos purple glow from pollution

My heart feels alost depressed

Until a twinkling star catches my eye

I watch, as the stars collaborate

Forming into the shape of a large spoon

Some call it the big dipper

I refer to it as the last visible sign of humanity
