Warm as Summer

Warm as Summer

A Poem by deepshade

Warm as summer, strong as diamonds;
She no longer faces the darkness alone.
A silver goddess; a golden god.
No mirage, a true reflection.
Here she comes with tears of joy
The past no more; the future, clear.
Birds spread their wings above their nest,
As they stand above the rest.
Shadows flee from the light they give
The moon is risen, they stand to forgive.
She views the world through her own eyes.
Red, blue, green, so many styles,
They look above to a healed youth
And the whole mirror shows her the truth.
