Yelling at Myself

Yelling at Myself

A Poem by deep sea connor

I knew I was bound to make a mistake
From the moment I woke up
Sun spraying in through the window
Temptation running through my veins

I keep trying to calm myself
Things will be okay
As long as I can put them behind me
But I'm afraid of what stands in my way

Yelling at myself for cracking
The weight was too much
And it took all my hope
Only one left is to stay afloat
