When I'm By Myself

When I'm By Myself

A Poem by deep sea connor

When I'm by myself
I'm connected to it all
The breeze is peaceful
But it won't carry your call

I can't seem to bare
The weight of my "society"
One day at a time
And living with forced sobriety

When I'm by myself
The high is much better
It's got nothing to do with sharing
I'm just afraid of being together

I can't seem to laugh
Because everything is a joke
Or I'm just burnt out
Furiously up in smoke

When I'm by myself
I hope the feeling lasts forever
That I'll never come down
It'll be silly, It'll be clever

oooh! connor! i like, i like. glad something came from your AA meeting. we're one in the same on wanting to be intoxicated/high alone as opposed to millions of people or just a few around. nice work my spiritual brother.
