What I seekA Poem by deepoet
What I seek Trivial, goes beyond the air I breathe I can not see it but I know It is there for me
Stark emotions, feelings within me Striving above the glare of the sun Forthright with my ardor, as I await For what I seek, does not forage for me
My clamor, based not on avarice, nor do I covet the vigor's of others For I sense within them, dormant befuddle confusion Entertaining ideas of serenity, only to disregard As darkness hover their spiritual garments
My spirit is desolate from the abundance of hypocrisy What I seek is trivial, beyond the air I breathe I sustain this journey, only to bide for the answer Clarity has not yet begun to nourish my soul.©2008 ~*deepoet*~ aka Dawn Rodriguez © 2008 deepoetAuthor's Note
