Again

Again

A Poem by sharma

I wanted a second chance

To show my attributes, talents and childishness

I wanted a steady slope

Raising upwards

Just like the feeling you get when you'd run towards

Someone you love

Someone you'd lust and that someone who you'd shove

With happiness, with content, with dreams of flying with doves

But you came back too soon

And I have nothing to show

No penny in my name, no friends from whom I can borrow

No light in the dark, have still not started a spark

Whisper some words to you and read back your responses a lot

I would love to be with you

But you wouldn't like the old me, it's true

The arrangement was broken by me

Because the matters and pressures were many

But since you decided to come back

I would like to tell to that

Our is not a match of love

But a tiny tangle of wits

And I fear that day will come

When you'll want the heart to grow tender

What do I do then?

Who do I become?

Because the confident lady who owns the texting game

Turns out to be moody and lame
