Alone

being alone sometimes is better then having the wrong person by yourside

when i am alone, i set my mind free

i open my eyes to the world

i let my heart sing

when i am alone, i imagine

imagine the world at peace

imagine my life differently

when i am alone, i dream

dream of another world

dream of starting anew

when i am with you

everything crashes

everything falls apart

quite true, some people just don't connect. sometimes being alone just helps to free the mind of the reality of the world, and releases your soul into deeper parts of yourself. i enjoyed the surprising contrast at the end; i enjoyed also how the first line of each set stanza. keep p the good work. :)
