I'm not a poet,

but, I feel,

the gloom of distance,

when you're not here.

I'm not a poet,

but, I cry,

when I feel low,

when I miss you.

I'm not a poet, 

but, I smile,

when I relive,

the time I've spent with you.

I'm not a poet,

but, I pray,

with all I've got,

to be yours, to be with you.

I'm not a poet,

but, I can say,

that I love you,

when I want to. 

I'm not a poet,

but, I know,

when I look in your eyes, 

that you love me too.

Dear Deeksha, we're all poets, and we're all not. Make sense? Don't worry if it doesn't I don't understand half the stuff I say, and about 90 percent of what I write. Poetry is just putting your thoughts into a readable form, easy on the eyes, and soothing to the heart. I think you accomplished both of these things here very well.
