Conditioned

Conditioned

A Poem by Declan Cooney
"

use of 3 words; paranormal, nefarious and insidious

"

Beneath the 7 seas, and the 10 temples of solid stone

Where absolutely no infinite or negative is ever shown

I stand alone, in a casket of mammoth bone

That was hunted and owned 10,000 years ago

A 1000ft below where any man has roamed

The paranormal personifies an act of God alone

A death dealing blow, like no one's ever known

Creating killing words that fire shots like Al Capone

I'm not stoned, in fact, I'm like sound in a dome

Resonating waves that leaves your organs exposed

Invoke and alone, I power up my sphere

With nefarious black magic, channeled thru your fear

Enchanted and recanting hex's placed on peoples lives

Who revoke their lifestyle's willingly, like every Christian wife

Alive, but despised, I remain insidious and thrive

I darken skies, with my hazel demon eyes

I steal minds, and flip coins to see who dies

I'm two faced, but both sides spit lies

You'll find, when threatened, I increase in size

And outside I adapt to land, sea and sky

So step aside, my venom is lead and rhymes

Its vacuous and tasking, yet it is my mentor and guide

I reside inside the sarcophagus enclosed

Mummified alive, I battle all those opposed.
