Where Heaven meets Hell

just something me and a special someone talked about writing 2 versions of

Through a simple a light was started in me
As love began to form heaven came clear to me in you
It seemed to be something I would love forever
And it still is
Wars start as the devil comes in to the view
But when the battles are all over
I realize I might not have my heaven anymore
As hell keeps coming into view of what we are
I still see heaven and I still love you in the end
We bring each other a happiness we once lost
Yet we never thought it would be this hard
Through a dying breathe to a waking kiss
I see a smile from a thousand miles away
No matter the mood I know heaven has touched hell in our lives
Through our relationship
Yet we still fight
But somehow we just can't move on
For when I'm with you I'm in heaven
Only to be brought down by the fear of love that is the devil in us
For we fought so hard to be where we are
Yet it hasn't been so long ago since we started
I ascend to the thought of you only to descend at the fear of losing you
The broken mistakes I made was never any help
But the three words I will always say to you is simple
I Love You

Heaven and hell can be open with one wrong statement or action. I like the story and the flow of thoughts in the poem.
"But somehow we just can't move on
For when I'm with you I'm in heaven
Only to be brought down by the fear of love that is the devil in us"
To be totally free can be scary. Can be took to places never to be equal. I like the strong ending to the excellent poetry.
