Tragedy of the heart

Tragedy of the heart

A Poem by Decaf

As this kiss reaches its end

We follow a path marked by bones

They say our love is a tragedy

It brings back those painful memories

Its like our love had dropped us

Before we were happy

Then it just falls apart

I never meant to make this mistake

As it consumes my life with failure

Nothing will be right again

But as for

You left with more than just my heart

You bought in a light

But left a shadow of sorrow

You won't remember me

But i will remember those last seconds

I can't even began to tell you how much I love this one. It's just. AMAZING. And oh so so true.

Love how you described this part:
"Its like our love had dropped us
Before we were happy
Then it just falls apart"

Really nice ending:
"But left a shadow of sorrow
You won't remember me
But i will remember those last seconds"

Nice title. Nice write, I like. Emotions show well in this.

Breaking a relationship apart takes a split second...but the remnants left seem to form a smoldering ash in its wake. This was a well thought out piece and hit the feelings with ease. Could get a sense of the emotions as I read along. :)

Sometime two people are not on the same path. Love need another person on the same path and with the same need. I like the thoughts and the very good ending to the poem.
"You won't remember me
But i will remember those last seconds"
Thank you for the excellent poem.
