A Chapter by Decaf

In a small faint voice the woman cries out in the abandoned psych hospital.  None of which will be heard to this day we have heard of her death, her haunting of the halls the place of her death. Now from recent events the people have been reborn, the passing over of the undead. Emily would be heard crying for the sake of her childhood love, as she felt so lonely she haunts the very town. Wandering around, looking for her love that was lost.

The town will be visited. As the visitor feels the horror of the ghost town he will find love of a ghostly state. The time is set the wheels of time are turning.  Let fate be itself as we look in to the ghost town. The ghosts are coming the children are screaming in the lost town of New James.

“Emily, please come out. We can walk to the general store,” said Rosa. Rosa being the respectable mother she is, just couldn’t get her daughter to stop crying. The times changed to know the fading of the sun setting goes by. Emily felt as if her time on earth was a waste, as if she could never be loved.

“Who cares if I ever lived and died, haunting the town that I never leave. Wanting but not getting love it hurts the soul” Emily cries out. Emily walks to her window. As she sits by her window seal she watches the neighbor’s kids play. “I need somebody “she says. Emily lays down sighing and saying “How can life be so hard after death.”

“Emily, you’re still as young as you were when you died and you have the same problems as you did then. You need to make more friends, friends will help you solve your problems.” said Rosa.

“But mom I have friends, you just don’t like them.” Emily replied. “Why don’t you let me go see them and ill stay out of my room ‘til bed” she asked?

“I don’t like them because you always get in trouble with them” Rosa answered, “but now that Buddy is gone I guess u can go.” As Rosa sits on Emily’s bed and strokes Emily’s hair.”I want you to just have fun and to not be depressed”, said Rosa.

“Thanks mom, I wish could have told me earlier,” rudely replies Emily,” I’m already depressed and I don’t know what it’ll take to heal me.” As she sits up and pushes her mom’s hand away.

“I’m sorry, honey, I didn’t mean to make you mad. I just want what’s best for you,” sadly said Rosa. She sat there so calm yet you can tell she meant what she said.

“I’m sorry mom. Can I go now mom?” she asked standing up next to the door

“Yes you can, sweetie,” Rosa answered.” Be careful.” As Rosa left Emily’s room Emily followed anxetiously.

Emily left the house as fast as she could get out running down to get her friend Decaf then take him to their friend Nicole’s house. As the chatter about life and parents, Emily still felt unwanted.  Decaf and Nicole tried everything to cheer her up. They would hug her and tell her how she can cheer up.  They just couldn’t get her to smile .

“Hey, why don’t we go the park,” says Decaf. The park always seemed to help Emily. As they went to the park Emily just dragged her feet along. She wouldn’t look up, as tears rolled down her face. Looking at Decaf and Nicole together just  made her even more depressed. Nicole would kiss Decaf so passionately not knowing that it would hurt Emily.

No one know why Emily was so depressed. So for the time being she was depressed. As a tear ran down her ghostly cheek. It seemed so unreal to her that she felt that way. The pain was felt once again
