Dirt piles

Dirt piles

A Poem by Decaf

Thousands of dirt piles increase in size

As funerals are being held

Loss of life and hunger for love is lost

As the pits are being filled

People cry out

Help the innocent break free of their last sin

Which bonds them to their death

To the lowering of the casket

Wow. I really enjoyed this. I love how short your poems are but how much meaning and emotion they pack inside of them.
