This is night, not day

This is night, not day

A Poem by Decaf

Running off a cliff only to fall into an awakened state

Only to realize it was only another nightmare

Standing there as my inner demon

Pushing me into that portal of depression

They aren't reoccurring always different

But with the same point

My inner demon pushing through the old closed wounds

As it lures me into the darkness that which lives

And as I fight to keep my life

I'll always just be laying there

A victim to my own sick game of self torture

It is always at night that it attacks

Like prey to a predator

I am caught by it

This isn't the daydream

This is the nightmare

This is night, not day

The piece battles itself in a way...as I read the entirety of this work...I was as pace with the whole theme and stubbed in this line a bit:

As it lures me into the darkness that which lives
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As it lures me into the darkness where it lives

I believe that's what you wanted to say...but again this is your creation...just IMPO...do as you please...and makes you comfortable...
