Coffee House Blues

Coffee House Blues

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Coffee house blues

On a cloudy day, just waiting

For the sun to shine through

Feeling the coffee house blues

Everyone is here hanging out

Evening poetry reading tonight

Handsome stranger walks in through the door

Out of no where he says hello to me

Unusally tall a man is he

Sunshine is peeking through the clouds

Evening poetry reading tonight

Baby blue eyes and a smile

Long dark hair and a moustache

Upon his head he wears a baseball cap

Electricity sparkles between him and me

So long to the coffee house blues
