When The Stars No Longer Shine

When The Stars No Longer Shine

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

When the stars no longer shine

He is no longer mine

Existing, just existing, that's all

Nothing else matters to me

Took back his love

He left my heart broken

Eternally, he did this to me

Stars in my eyes

Tarnished and dim

A wish to get over him

Rid myself of this misery

Stop seeing him in my dreams

No hope is left inside of me

Out of this doom, I often cry

Lonely teardrops by and by

On my face, they fall like rain

Now and then, time and again

Greeting this sad feeling

Ending, facing that it's over

Return to me, never, my love

Stars no longer shine

He is no longer mine

I only exist

Nothing else matters to me

Eternally lonely, am I to be
