Out Of My Dancing Shoes

Out Of My Dancing Shoes

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Babe

Out of my dancing shoes

Into my slippers and robe

I shall dance with you, tonight

Please don't step on my toes

As we sway to the music we make

I shall dance with you, tonight

Babe

As we waltz across the floor

Swirling and twirling

To the melody of romance

We shall dance you and I

Creating musical butterflies

In our stomachs

Whirling round and round

Babe
