A B C Baby, You And Me

A B C Baby, You And Me

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

A B C baby, you and me

Babe, can't you see how much I love you?

Can't you see me in your dreams, anymore?

Dreaming about you all the time in mine

Each time I dream about you though, you're alway with someone else

Falling in love but not with me, never with me

Got to get you out of my head

Hurts so bad, yes, it hurts so bad

I can't hide this heartache that's for sure

Just to let you know how I feel

Keep wondering if I hadn't gotten manic

Love might have found us, babe

My thoughts racing as usual, you're on my mind tonight

No one can fill your shoes or take your place in my heart

Original, you are...

Pretend that I don't care

Questions lingering here

Repetition of thoughts about you and me as I write my poetry

Seems I just can't get you out of my mind

This sure feels like hell to me

Until the ends of time, I know I'll always love you

Visions of the way it could've been dance in my brain

Without you in my future, I feel such an aching pain

Xtra special you are to me, oh, why can't you see?

You mean the world to me, from A to...

Zee...
