A Pair Of Cowboy BootsA Poem by Deborah Leah KrempaA pair of cowboy boots & a Stetson hat
Psychiatrist she warned me about those darn cowboy boots! As she told me to buy myself a tee shirt that reads, stay away! I wondered what she meant by that, it sounded so funny Recalling her words even now, brings a smile to my face
Out on the town tonight, the mood is right for dancing Fine looking man standing over there, better beware!
Cause that man is wearing some dang fancy cowboy boots Oh gee, she had to be joking when she said that to me Wonder if he's got a girlfriend? He sure is good looking Boy, you just never know, do ya? Here he comes to my table Oh, hello there, he says, I look into his eyes & then to the floor You know, those fancy cowboy boots could get me into trouble tonight
Babe, pull up a chair & sit down & I'll buy you a drink Out on the town, where the neon lights shine so bright Order another round or two, what will it hurt? Those darn cowboy boots are dancing with my stilettos, tonight She told me to buy a tee shirt that reads, stay away! I just smile © 2010 Deborah Leah KrempaReviews
