I think this piece could be more 'dreamy' and own the sense of longing if you added in ellipses at the ends of a few sentences(don't overdo it though). Example:
(Last sentence) 'My dear friend..."
It would do the entire piece of whole world of good.
But this is truly an amazing piece of work. I really enjoyed reading it~ ;D
