Until The Rivers All Run Dry

Until The Rivers All Run Dry

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Until the rivers all run dry, I shall remember you

Nothing can fade...

The image of you that I hold in my mind, my heart and my soul

I just wish things could've turned out differently

Lonesome and blue, these are my emotions coming through

The love I have for you darling is forever true

Having to face the fact that you choose not to be with me

Embarrasses me and I feel like such a fool

Rivers of tears have ran from my eyes, fell in streams down my face

It hurts deep inside, as never again shall I know your sweet embrace

Very soon you'll find another woman, perhaps the one you search for

Excuse me darling, for not living up to your expectations

Remember me passionately, if only in your dreams

So sorry, that I am not the one that pleases you in each and every way

Affectionately, I shall remember you, in mine

Letting you go is a hard thing for me to do, but I know I must

Love you enough, to set you free...

Remember me passionately, if only in your dreams

Until the rivers all run dry, I shall remember you

Nothing can fade the image that I hold in my mind, my heart & my soul

Damn, it hurts and it breaks my heart to have to say good-bye to you

Remember me passionately if only in your dreams

You shall always have a special place in mine
