Hailed A Taxicab

Hailed A Taxicab

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Hailed a taxicab, straight to your door

Asked if you had company, you said "not that kind..."

I fell into your waiting arms as you bid me to come in

Longing to be with you, just one more time

Eyes of emerald green, you beckoned me to kiss you

Daring and dashing, so handsome and tall a man

A night of blissful lovemaking, I was yours for the taking

The night was young, and so were we

A time spent with you, I wouldn't have have missed it for the world

X marks the spot where you touched my heart

I'll always remember your eyes and the way you smile at me

Can't fight the feeling as my emotions run wild

A dreamy romantic evening just us two

Babe, I love you
