On line love affair

Not the kind you can hold

 

Love letters written in bold and italics fill a blank computer screen

I fell in love with you babe in real life a long time ago

Now it seems I've fallen all over again only to be left with a broken heart

Enlightened by the fact that you refuse to love me back

 

Left crying myself to sleep each and every night

Oh baby, why can't it be me? What have I done that was so wrong?

Venting poetic apologies tonight as I write for whatever it was that I did

Enter the world of cyberspace where the drama takes place

 

A drama queen I am not...

Faithful and trustworthy, that is what I am

Family is my most important concern and then there is you

A long lost love, a soul mate perhaps for I have seen you in my dreams

I just wish you would give me another chance to show you my love is 

Real and true...

Heart on a sleeve time in this wonderful outpouring of emotion 10/10 for conviction i am almost believing this poem is about real events and perhaps there is a lost love out there that you care about i hope that your poor heart is soothed by a caring person if not with this person you cherish so much,an inspirational piece of poetry well done.
