Heartbreaker

Heartbreaker

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

H eartbreaker...

E verytime I think of you...

A nother dagger rips my heart in two...

R un away baby, as far as you can go, don't bother to look back

T his heart is bleeding since you left me so utterly blue

B y now, you must have found comfort in the arms of someone else

R ivers of tears I've shed as I cried myself to sleep longing for you

E ach and every night I still pray that maybe one day you'll change your mind

A bout me and realize I am the one you've searched for all this time

K indred spirits cannot be torn apart like this my love

E ternity is just around the corner and we shall meet again

R emembering your words as I recall you said, "It is, our song."
