The Last Dance

The Last Dance

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

give me a cabin on hill

with a nearby stream

a place where the two of us

can sit back and dream

or a teepee will do

long as i can be with you

i could take an old shack

and make it into a home

never leave you lonely

place wild flowers

in a vase

on the kitchen table

every spring and summer

cuddle up with you

next to a cozy fire

stirring such passionate desire

we couldn't get any higher

i'd love to have

the last dance with you

each and every night

for you are my hearts delight

This was a beautiful write. As long as we have our soulmate next to us, we can turn anything into a romantic haven :)
