I Cried

I Cried

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

I  cried today, tears streaming down my face

C rying because I found a ray of hope and yet my sorrows still run soul deep

R eality often bites like a venomous snake

I cried today, thinking about my precious angels not to be taken away

E verytime I think about losing them it's hurts so deep inside

D on't know what I'll do if I lose my grandbabies, god help my family...

Hummm ... This feels less like hope than despair. That's not to say it isn't well written. because it is very visceral. I just mightn't have been inclined to say you had FOUND a ray of hope ... it feels more to this old man that you SEEK a ray of hope. Stirring read just the same.
