Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

W eep not for me, oh weeping willow tree

E verybody cries sometimes

E verybody hurts sometimes

P lease don't cry on my account

I  remember a time

N ot so long ago

G rins and smiles shared as

W e made love in the green grass, beneath your magestic branches

I 'll never forget the dreams we had, the plans we made

L ove was plentiful

L azy summer nights we spent together

O nly the moonlight covered us

W hile naked we lay
