E verything I ought to know I learned from mama

 

A carpenter, a fisherman, a teacher was he

B eautiful message he passed on to his people

O ut of the wilderness, and the darkness he showed

U s the path to follow as he became a lamp for us to see 

T he father of all of creation including you and me

 

J esus, you make me strong when I am weak

E very time I fall down, you are there to lift me up

S ustain me in my times of trouble, rejoice with me in my times of joy

U se me lord Jesus to be an instrument of your faith, hope and love

S how me the way, the truth and the life through your mercy and grace
