BalloonsA Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
Sending up balloons Setting them free In memory of you My darling son I did just that not so long ago At the time of your passing Now here I am once more Sending up balloons Setting them free For your three little nephews Who are in foster care In hopes that they come home soon Such darling little guys Brendan, he has your sky blue eyes Cute as a button, he just turned five The twins Alan and Alex are almost two They are so cuddly and loveable it's true Just like you when you were a boy Brings to my heart such wonderful joy I wish you could have known them So here I am Spending some quiet time alone Sending up balloons Setting them free
