The Flu

The Flu

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

what is a grandma to do

taking care of my grandson

home sick with the flu

what is a grandma to do

when his temperature is rising

to one-hundred and two

what is a grandma to do

a cold washcloth and a kiss on his forehead

my poor little guy is feeling so blue

what is a grandma to do

off to the doctor's office we go

when he feels better we'll visit the zoo

what is a grandma to do

Thank goodness for Grandmas! They are always there through thick and then, good times and bad, sickness and health!
This is a sweet write of something we can relate to!
Good job!

Clever. I liked it. Though, I'm not sure I'd enjoy the flu either.
