Kick His Behind To The Curb

Kick His Behind To The Curb

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

she works everyday living paycheck to paycheck

while he wears gold chains around his neck

she just bought herself a new van just the other day

while he gets to drive it what more need I say

the car she is driving is about to break down

while he is out cruizing and painting the town

her income tax came and then it went real quick

just thinking about the guy makes me sick

by the way he just landed a new apartment

you can just guess who is paying the rent

he wears his shoes and his clothes in the lastest style

as she wears old rags all the while

he thinks he so cool

playing her for a fool

she needs to wake up

smell the coffee cup

put up a sign that reads do not disturb

kick his behind to the curb

no more lame excuse

for any more of his abuse

no more listening to his whining and screaming

or words so demeaning

she needs to wake up

smell the coffee cup

put up a sign that reads do not disturb

kick his behind to the curb

Could be my ex-son-in-law. And I like the repetition of "she needs to wake up - smell the coffee cup".

Don't hold back, tell how you really feel! I see this way too much. You hit it on the head, and maybe someone should, literally!

Yeah kick him for sure. I hate this guy from just reading this poem. It isn't someone you really know is it? Great job if it isn't because you made me really feel for this woman and hate teh guy.
