Brrr...

Brrr...

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

Brrr...

It's cold outside

Below zero temperatures

Snow is piled up so high

Brrr...

It's cold outside

Turned my furnace up

To keep my family warm

Huddled together

Like bees in a swarm

Brrr...

It's cold outside

All we need now is a blizzard

Cold winds are blowin in

In Ohio we're all shivering

Our lips are quivvering

Brr...

It's cold outside

The streets are all ice

The schools are all closed

The salt trucks have arrived

It's wintertime

Brr...

It's cold outside

Below zero temperature

Snow is piled up so high

Brr...

It's not much different down here in the sunny south right now. I go around all bundled up with the heat on, trying to get warm.

This poem reminds me a lot of North Dakota with their subzero temperatures. Good job.
