Praying

Down on my knees

Humbly lord I pray

In the only way that I know how

In my thoughts I talk to you

Sometimes I speak out loud

This is my heart

Talking to you

Heart to heart

Dear lord,

The other day I was visiting with my little grandchildren

At the foster care center where I see them every week

Well lord, my eldest grandson who just turned five

Asked his Mommy will he ever be able to come home

And be with her and see his family ever again

His mommy broke down in tears and cried

It tore me up inside

My soul is troubled, Lord

My other two grandbabies, his brothers are twins

One-year olds and growing so fast

They hardly know us anymore

It's so sad

You know my daughter is a good mom

I would never lie to you

You know she has a heart of gold

I pray Lord,  I hope, I want to believe

Our babies will come home

I pray for my daughter

I hope

and

I pray

Amen

How beautiful, how exquisite, how heartfelt!!! It seems as if I am right by your bedside as you pray this prayer!
God bless your daughter, and her precious little ones! This is really touching!!!
Blessings, and Love,
Sheila
